CHICAGO
BOSTON SET BREAKDOWN
"Boston was the first set i built for HOME. I started with a concept from my Art director. I took that image and broke it down so i could cleverly build and design assets that would be cost effective. Each building had different facades, so you could turn it around when positioning it and would be a completely different building. The city was built with 5 buildings. With those buildings i made 4 variations of blocks that were used to populate the city. Its was a very simple process that saved alot of time and money down the pipeline."

"After i designed the Boston location, which was a very big location,. I had to make sure for Paris set we had the same feel of a big city but since it was featured less in the film i had to be cleaver about it. So i built this full city with only 5 buildings following the same concept of having every facade representing a different building. this image shows all the variations i got from only 5 buildings. we played with heights but adding more floors the the existing buildings."
